Causes of Moral Decadences in Youth and its Danger

Abstract

Youth life has great importance to the societies, because they are the ones to carry the whole burdens of the society in the future. And a person at a normal circumstance use to be dedicative and beneficial to his society as a result of having upright childhood, and vice versa: people become useless and viruses in society due to the absence of moral training since their softness of the nail. This paper aims at displaying the causes of moral decadences in youth and its danger, because knowing the cause helps in remedying the caused, and when Islam prohibits a thing, prohibits the cause to it also. It gives the definition of moral and the youth, discussion in details took place on the importance of youth life in uplifting the society. It also discusses the causes of moral decadence in youth which were divided in to internal and external, the paper contains some dangers of moral decadences in youth on the societies at the last part. Data has been collected from the noble Qur`an, Hadith, Islamic books, magazines sites on internet etc. This paper finds the causes of moral decadence in youth are of two types, internal causes which comprise: staying of mother out of home too long, negligence of father on monitoring the family, poverty coupled with ignorance, and external causes which encapsulate: bad company, mixture between male and female, internet and social media and late marriage without a legitimate reason.
